International Credit Union Day
 Thursday, October 21st, is International Credit Union Day. We will be celebrating both International Credit Union Day and Member Appreciation Day by having drawings and
giveaways throughout the day and serving refreshments. All members will be eligible for
the drawings. Members can get extra drawing chances by:
- Closing a Loan
- Opening a Visa Account
- Adding a New Credit Union Service
- Or Bringing in a New Eligible Member
A drawing ticket is available in the newsletter and additional tickets will be available at our office when you take advantage of one of the above listed services.
Shred Day
To show our appreciation to our members, we will be having a Free Shred Day as part of our International Credit Union Day Celebration. Knighthorst Destruction Company will be at the credit union from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on October 21st to securely shred your documents.
Each member will be limited to 4 boxes of documents. Only paper products will be accepted.
Statements Express!
 We are offering statements online through our new
Statement Express system. You will need to sign up for Virtual Branch Home Banking in order to
use this service. Just log into Virtual Branch and select estatement from the menu and follow the set up directions. Some features of online
statements are:
- User-friendly and secure access 24x7
- Online enrollment
- You will receive email when statement is ready
- Quicker access to your statement
- Will archive six months of statements for member research

Fraud Alert
Always remember that no one from the credit union or any of its vendors will ever call you and ask for your debit and/or credit card number.
If you receive a request by phone, email, text, or regular mail for your debit and/or credit card information it is not the credit union.
Scammers are getting more creative all the time on how to commit identity theft so we all must be vigilant about safeguarding our personal
information.
New Debit and Credit Card Restrictions
The Nashville Post Office Credit Union may restrict and/or block Debit and Credit Card access in certain countries. For a list of affected
countries, please contact our office. If you plan to travel outside of the United States, please contact us before you travel for assistance.
The restrictions will help in the fight against identity theft.
Important Notice About Your Safe Deposit Box
The CONTENTS of your Nashville Post Office Credit Union safe deposit box are NOT insured against loss by this financial institution. You may
wish to contact an insurance company of your choice in order to obtain protection for the contents of your safe deposit box. It would be
beneficial to keep a complete, up-to-date list and description of all of your contents stored in your safe deposit box. This list and any other
proof of ownership documents should be stored in a location separate from your safe deposit box. The credit union does not view the contents of
your safe deposit box, therefore, the credit union is not able to keep an inventory list or insure the contents.

We have a new kind of “traveler’s check”. It is the Visa TravelMoney® card. It provides the security of traveler’s checks and the convenience of a Visa card.

All members of the credit union who have one of our Visa credit or debit cards can now sign up with Verified by Visa
to protect against online fraud. Verified by Visa is a new service that protects the Visa credit card that
you already have. So once you activate Verified by Visa:
